Tukie’s love affair with food started as a small girl on a farm where she was tasked to cook for the family while they were working in the rice fields. With a passion for cooking and preparing food for loved ones stayed with her until a few years ago when she opened her first small restaurant in Lagos near the Kirikiri container terminal, just so that she could learn the basics. When she felt comfortable we opened the first restaurant in Apapa where Tukie could pursue her 3 passions in life, food, flowers and friends and that is at the heart of the whole Orchid House restaurant business!
